As the weather gets nicer and nicer all I want to do is go outside and work in the yard. I feel like the first part of spring is always about cleaning up the yard from all those leaves that got left behind from fall and planting flowers. In my neighborhood the neighbors secretly compete for who has the best looking yard. Everyone mows their yards at the same time, plants flowers and trims hedges every Sunday afternoon. Now, I just actually purchased a house down the street from where we are now, and the outside needs a lot of work. The hostas have grown in and I planted all my flowers for the year, but now comes the hard work of repairing the shed in the backyard and our pool deck.
The shed doors were so bad when we purschased the house that you can see threw the holes. We bought the house, because the inside was perfect for us and we said we would get to the back yard in the Spring and Summer. Well, the time has come and updates need to be made now that we finally have the nice weather to work outside and get a clear picture of what needs done. When we purschased the house we worked with Renee who went over all of the features of the home including the outside spaces. At the time we told her we did not know if the shed could be saved or not, and told her we would get back to her to make sure we have the proper coverage on the shed. Yes, even sheds and detached garages need to have insurance. Now, that we know the shed can be saved with just exterior door replacement we need to call and discuss our coverage options with Renee, who is our Personal Lines Customer Service Representative (CSR).
